A 110 acre riverfront site just west of Rainier that gets heavy use during fishing season. Three unimproved sand roads lead to the water. During fishing season numerous cars and trucks can be seen parked along the river's bank. Lewis and Clark interpretive signage and Friends of Dibblee Point signage exists at the site.

This is a large, new, two-land boat launch located at the west end of Rainier and immediately adjacent to the Rainier City Park. The launch can be exceptionally busy during certain fishing seasons. Though this site was primarily developed for motorized boats, there is typically an easily accessible sandy beach just downstream of the boat ramp which provides an easy sandy water access opportunity. Launching from the sand upstream of the boat launch can be dangerous due to very swift currents that can sweep boaters into the large breakwater protecting the boat ramp docks. A boat ramp and dock in downtown Clatskanie at river mile 1.2 on the Clatskanie River. A variety of services are within walking distance. Signs at the site inform boaters about non-native Mitten Crab and ask that they be aware and report them.

A sandy, often windy, mostly unimproved park along the Columbia River shoreline. Launching and landing generally requires a 1/4 mile haul from the parking area to the river and navigation of a steep, sandy cutbank near the river's edge. The site has been an active dredge materials disposal site, which accounts for the lack of vegetation and wide expanses of sand. Because the site is often very windy, the site is popular with kite boarders. The park is closed for all activities from 10:00 pm to 5:00 am and no overnight camping is allowed. The easiest public launch on the island, Puget Island Access boasts a large gravel parking lot with a short walk to nice sandy beach. Puget Island can be reached by car either by the bridge to Cathlamet or the toll ferry to Westport (which leaves Westport every hour at a quarter after, and leaves the Island every hour on the hour).

Warrenton Marina is a busy commercial and recreational marina and boat launch close to downtown Warrenton. The marina isn't actually on the Columbia River, but in a sheltered waterway that makes up the greatly modified mouth of the Skipanon River. From the marina, it is a straight paddle out the Skipanon Waterway (watch for motorboats) to the western side of Young's Bay and the Columbia. The marina is equiped with nice restrooms, showers, and a fish cleaning station. Astoria Parks Maintenance headquarters meets local gillnet fleet mooring docks. The site has a boat ramp with a run-down dock beside it, both of which are stranded by mud at low tides. At low tides, paddlers may carry boats out to the moorage docks, where launching is available at any tide.

A 5.5 acre day use and overnight park on the Columbia River - includes 1 restroom building, ample parking, electrical hook-ups, picnic sites, fishing platform, trails and open space, 18 unit campground with great fishing. The park offers 3 tent camping spots along the Columbia River, as well.

A 60 acre regional beach park on the Columbia River for day use - includes 2 restroom buildings, playground equipment, beach access, picnic shelters and tables, trails. Paved parking areas and roadways. The Willow Grove Boat Launch was acquired by the Port of Longview in May 2016.
