Vancouver Lake Park is a 190-acre regional park that stretches for 2.5 miles along the west shore of Vancouver Lake. The park has 35 developed acres and a wide range of visitor faciilities and provides habitat for a variety of wildlife and migratory waterfowl. The Lake itself has a surface area of approximately 2,300 acres that varies with seasonal water levels. Vancouver Lake is shallow, with a lake depth that is typically betwen three to 15 feet. Paddling on the open water can vary considerably depending on wind and other weather factors.
