The Skamokawa Resort is the heart of Skamokawa, with a general store, cafe, and a variety of shoreline lodging opportunities. Skamokawa Resort has a large welcoming paddle dock available for guests, paddlers using the general store and cafe, visiting the Duck Inn, or generally just taking in Skamokawa - please just check in with the friendly store when using the dock. The River Life interpretive Center at historic Redmen Hall, with displays, exhibits, and historic interpretation is just up with hill from the Resort. 

Langsdorf Landing is located on a Columbia River mainstem slough located between the Washington mainland and Caterpillar Island across from Sauvie Island. The site is fairly remote but the WDFW ramp has been reconstructed and improved with a new ramp and paved parking area. The site is adjacent to Kadow's Caterpillar Island Marina, a small marina with boat slip rentals, moorage and what appears to be some very light industry. Pit toilets are located across the street.
