A small country store just out of site from the river. The store has typical convenience-store items, including premade sandwiches and wildlife parking permits, and a small deli for fresh sandwiches. There is a picnic table, portable toilet, and pay phone outside. Store hours are 8 to 5 seven days a week during off-season, and 7 to 7 Memorial Day to Labor Day. The get to the store from the river, beach around a rock outcropping just downriver of River Beacon 28. Most of the year there is a nice sandy beach, but during high water months the beach is covered, leaving only a rocky shoreline.
