Camping is no longer allowed on Reed Island, but two picnic sites are available to boaters for daytime use only. No potable water, restrooms, or garbage on the island. Some tidal influence (2ft or less), with most dramatic effect on north eastern portion of the island exposing large sand bar at low tides.
