This well maintained 54-acre site located on Highway 30 just east of Astoria features a public boat launch, flush restrooms, parking, and a grassy area. The large parking lot can fill up quickly during fishing season. Lewis and Clark Wildlife Refuge interpretive signage.

Knows as Knappa Docks because of the old barge that still exists. Launching from the dock is not advised and the docks are slated for removal in 2020. Use the small beach upstream of the dock, which can be difficult to launch from at high tide because most of the beach is under water. The site provides excellent access to the Lewis and Clark Wildlife Refuge.

A large boat marina, west of the Astoria-Megler Bridge, and directly adjacent to the Astoria Riverwalk Inn, formerly the Red Lion Inn. The habormaster maintains an office at the Marina. Hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm daily. Showers, laundry, and water are available at the fuel dock or harbormaster's office. Ice, espresso, hardware, and fishing tackle are all available on site as well. The 17th Street Dock is part of the Astoria Waterfront, which receives a fair amount of local and tourist foot traffic. It is located next to the Columbia River Maritime Museum, and is where visiting cruise liners and other ships brought in by the Museum are tied up. Previous visitors include the Sea Bird and the Empress of the North. The City of Astoria is in discussions as of 2020 to lease the eastern portion of the dock to American Cruise Lines.

A small viewing platform and tie up located right in the heart of Cathlamet.

The westernmost commercial access point to the Oregon side of the lower Columbia River. The Hammond boat ramp is a heavily used commercial port for anglers fishing for sturgeon, salmon and other game fish, particularly the Buoy 10 salmon season each August.
