Courtney Shaff

Courtney Shaff is the Monitoring and Reporting Program Manager for the Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board. Courtney has worked at OWEB since 2006 and has worked in every section of the agency, most recently as the Business Operations Manager prior to becoming the Monitoring and Reporting Program Manager. Included in her portfolio is the development, management, tracking and reporting of federal funding through NOAA Fisheries PCSRF funding, USDA, Natural Resource Conservation Service, Bureau of Land Management, and other federal funds. Courtney also leads OWEB’s diversity, equity, and inclusion

Grattix Box Project

The Lower Columbia Estuary Partnership gave away Grattix boxes—a sort of rain garden in a box—to businesses along the Columbia River to remove pollution from roof runoff.

Coal Creek Boat Launch

Located just off of SR 4 in west Longview is Coal Creek Boat Launch. The launch has a small ramp but no dock, and is good for kayaks and small boats. It provides access to Coal Creek Slough and a series of backwater sloughs within Willow Grove Wetland. You can also reach the Columbia River by paddling about 4.5 miles west through Coal Creek Slough. Watch a video about Willow Grove Wetland restoration by Port of Longview below!
