Research Technician (Limited Project)
Sam is originally from California, where she grew up fascinated by coastal ecosystems and marine life. She relocated to the Portland area in 2020. Most of her professional experience focuses on marine science, and includes a project to map Oregon's kelp beds as well as a period collecting fisheries data for the WDFW. She has an M.P.S. in Environmental GIS from Unity College, and a B.S. in Biology from Saint Mary's College of California. In her free time she likes to garden, craft, and cook.
