The federal government and the states of Oregon and Washington have all developed recovery plans for endangered and threatened Columbia River salmon. The Estuary Partnership has obtained some of the GIS data contained in these plans, and presented it in the map below to help inform restoration and recovery efforts. As more data becomes available it will be added to the map. Currently, the following datasets are included:

OR & WA Priority Lower Columbia Tributaries for Salmon & Steelhead Recovery

NOAA Fisheries Lower Columbia River Tule Chinook Recovery Planning
NOAA National Marine Fisheries Service has developed a model which identifies certain locations within the mainstem lower Columbia and the tidally influenced portions of various tributaries as being critical habitats for supporting juvenile lower Columbia River 'Tule' Chinook populations.
