Twin Gables Bed and Breakfast is just downstream of the Highway 4 bridge over Skamokawa Creek.
From their website:
"Twin Gables is a two-room bed and breakfast Inn located on the banks of Skamokawa Creek. A full breakfast featuring locally sourced ingredients is served at your individual table in our dining room. A private dock is available to moor your boat. We are very close to the mouth of Skamokawa Creek, emptying into the Columbia River.
"Twin Gables is centrally located, just a short walk from Skamokawa Vista Park, a wildlife refuge and Historic Redmen Hall, with its River Life Interpretive Center and bookshop. There is also a general store and post office nearby. Also within easy walking distance: The Duck Inn, with American diner style food and a full bar, also just across the creek: The Oasis Tavern with a selection of microbrews and local music on the weekends.
"Boaters will enjoy the ease and convenience of our private dock. Simply launch your boat across the street at Vista Park then motor or paddle under the bridge to the back door of the B&B. Kayakers can take advantage of local tours and instruction from Columbia River Kayaking one of
the top kayaking tour services on the West Coast."
