The site is accessed off of River Street, and located just downstream of the St. Helens Marina and motorized boat launch. The site is right across the river from Sand Island Marine Park.
A non-motorized access point just downstream of the motorized boat launch at the St. Helens Marina. The site has restrooms, a water bottle filling station, and picnic tables. The City has also improved the small craft launch with a loading zone for parking and by making the path to the water's edge smoother and less steep. The site has 9 parking spaces and one ADA space with a loading zone. The restrooms are open from dawn to dusk (on an auto-lock system).
