Cape Disappointment State Park is a breathtaking 1,882-acre camping destination on the Long Beach Peninsula, offering sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean and the mouth of the Columbia River. Lodging options range from traditional campsites, cabins, and unique historic vacation homes, providing something for every type of traveler. The campground includes 231 tent and RV sites (accommodating rigs up to 45 feet), five hike/bike sites, and three cabins, with standard, partial, and full hookup options available. While many sites are first-come, first-served, reservations are highly recommended due to the park’s popularity.
In addition to camping, the park boasts 27 miles of ocean beach, two picturesque lighthouses, an interpretive center, and a variety of hiking trails. Visitors can enjoy beachcombing and immerse themselves in the area’s rich natural and cultural history.
