Native and Invasive Plant Kit (Spanish language version)

The Native and Invasive Plant Kit (Spanish language version) has all the supplies needed to conduct the Native and Invasive Plant Lesson with written content in spanish.  The kit conatins premade packets with laminated clues and pictures illustrating a wide variety of local native and invasive species.  Students use the information to decide if these plants are ones we should be planting or pulling.  Students also learn why native plants are so cirtical for the survival of native species of animals. In this kit all the clues, worksheets, posters, etc are written in Spanish.

NGSS Connections:

4-LS1-1. Construct an argument that plants and animals have both internal and external structures that serve various functions in growth, survival, behavior, and reproduction.

5-ESS3-1. Obtain and combine information about ways individual communities use science ideas to protect the Earth’s resources and environment.

MS-LS2-1. Analyze and interpret data to provide evidence for the effects of resource availability on organisms and populations of organisms in an ecosystem.
