Macroinvertebrates Sampling Kit

Macroinvertebrates are the base of complex aquatic food webs. Collecting and identifying macroinvertbrates provides opportunities to study adaptations, lifecycles and biological sensitivities to water pollution. If you have access to a pond or a stream (preferably along a shallow, rocky shore), this kit provides everything you need to lead an exciting, hands-on stream bug investigation with your students.

CHECK OUT: Kits may be checked out for two weeks and are available at our  Portland office. In some cases and with advance notice we may be able to arrange a delivery or pick-up.
