The Explore Birds Kit provides materials to support and enrich a unit on birds. Skulls, eggs, and feathers offer a hands-on opportunity for learning more about local birds. By request, we can include 15 binoculars and a class set of Birds of Oregon field guides to expand learning to the schoolyard or local natural area. Our suggested bird lessons and activities can connect to state science benchmarks through habitats, adaptations, food chains, and scientific inquiry.
CHECK OUT: Kits may be checked out for two weeks and are available from our Portland office. We may be able to arrange a delivery or pick-up.
